Reproductive Surgery: Are we losing this art to A.R.T.?

Guest Speaker: Jeffrey Goldberg, MD,

Dr. Goldberg is Section Head for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Cleveland Clinic and professor with Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He also established and directs the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Fellowship Program.

Dr. Goldberg has published more than 300 scientific articles, abstracts, and book chapters and has co-authored three books on gynecologic endoscopic surgery. He was past president of the Society of Reproductive Surgeons. He currently serves as chair of the Minimally Invasive Reproductive Surgery Fellowship Committee and is on the editorial board of several journals, including Fertility and Sterility and the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.

Dr. Goldberg shares his historical perspective of surgery's role in improving reproductive health. He spotlights how the emergence of assisted reproductive technologies is affecting the application of surgical interventions and the training of  REI physicians as reproductive surgeons. How will this impact the future trend of infertility care provided in our communities?
